CY Globe Motors is an automobile dealership based in Lagos, Nigeria. The company deals exclusively in brand new passenger and commercial vehicles. Its stable of brands comprises Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Hyundai and Higer.
Our journey began in March 1984 when our Founder and Chairman, Williams, registered the company with a mission to transform the undeserved Nigerian automobile industry. Over three decades later, CY Globe Motors has surpassed its initial aspirations and the company continues to set the pace in the evolution of the country’s automobile sector. We are proud partners of leading multinationals and several public sector institutions. Today, CY Globe Motors is the largest dealer in the Mercedes-Benz segment and a leading dealer in the Toyota segment. The company is also the sole distributor of Higer vehicles in Nigeria.
CY Globe Motors has the financial muscle required to meet local demand for new vehicles within its brand segments. The company trades with unencumbered capital in excess of Seven Billion Naira (NGN 7, 000, 000, 000) and has financing from Tier 1 Nigerian banks in excess of Fourteen Billion Naira (NGN 14, 000, 000, 000).
BRANDS
The Mercedes-Benz brand continues to set the benchmark globally in luxury vehicle segment. CY Motors enjoys a sterling relationship with Daimler AG (manufacturers of Mercedes-Benz vehicles) and has been a catalyst for the growth of the brand in Nigeria. Our company is the largest importer of Mercedes-Benz cars in Nigeria, accounting for over 70% of the volume sourced directly from Daimler AG in 2013 and 2014. WE deals exclusively in Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles.
One of the world’s most trusted automobile manufacturers, Toyota is a dominant brand in the Nigerian market thanks to its absolute focus on quality and reliability. This establishment has been a key driver of the Nigerian Toyota market, with our company accounting for 50% of all Toyota vehicles imported into Nigeria as early as 1993. We deal in both passenger and commercial Toyota vehicles.
The Hyundai brand has made significant inroads in the Nigerian market over the last few years. The brand is the newest addition to our stable, contributing vehicles in both the passenger and commercial vehicle segments.
Higer is a commercial vehicle manufacturer based in China. The company offers a wide range of buses, from 15-passenger coaches to mass transit 80-passenger buses such as those operated under Lagos State’s Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) scheme. CY Motors is the sole distributor of Higer vehicles in Nigeria.
CY Motors has a presence in Nigeria’s leading commercial centres: Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
